Lima

Day 2 | Arrive Lima & Larco Museum tour

Upon arrival, your driver will be waiting with a signboard for your private transfer to Souma Hotel Lima, located in the Miraflores district near the coastal promenade overlooking the Pacific Ocean.

This morning, a half-day small-group tour explores both modern and colonial Lima—the City of Kings. Beginning in Miraflores and San Isidro, pass a sacred pre-Inca huaca before heading to the Historic Center. The Plaza de Armas and its colonial architecture, the Convent of Santo Domingo, and the Larco Museum's world-class pre-Columbian collection bring thousands of years of Peruvian history to life.

The remainder of the day is at your leisure.

Sacred Valley

Day 3 | Fly to Cuzco & transfer to the Sacred Valley

Mid-morning transfer to Lima airport for your flight to Cuzco. Upon arrival, a private transfer brings you to your hotel in the Sacred Valley.

The Sacred Valley sits lower than Cuzco, making it ideal for acclimatizing to altitude. Snow-capped peaks rise above green valleys and ancient stone ruins, integrated into everyday village life.

Tambo del Inka Resort & Spa is a luxury resort set along the Urubamba River, surrounded by dramatic Andean peaks. The design blends contemporary Andean architecture with natural stone and wood, and expansive windows frame views of the river, gardens, and mountains.

The remainder of the day is at your leisure to relax and acclimatize.

Tambo del Inka Valle Sagrado

Day 4 | Private half-day Pisac experience

The town of Pisac sets the stage for an exploration of one of the most important archaeological sites in the Sacred Valley, perched atop a hillside with sweeping views of the surrounding landscape.

The site's remarkable platform system and urban planning—extraordinarily advanced for their time—inspire awe for the ingenuity of the Inca civilization.

The descent to the local market brings an opportunity to interact with warm and friendly local people, discover their culture, and browse a fascinating array of unique products from the area.

Day 5 | Full-day Machu Picchu guided experience

Start with a comfortable vista dome train ride. Large panoramic windows provide incomparable scenic views of the Andes, following the meandering Urubamba River through farmlands and picturesque villages on a one-hour ride to Aguas Calientes Station.

From there, a 20-minute shared bus ride navigates the switchbacks up to the citadel of Machu Picchu—one of the most renowned examples of Inca architecture, rising dramatically from the surrounding cloud forest.

A guided visit of the ruins explores the Lost City of the Incas, discovered in 1911 by American explorer Hiram Bingham. Lunch follows at the Machu Picchu Sanctuary Lodge, adjacent to the entrance of the ruins.

The return journey by train brings you back to the Sacred Valley, followed by a transfer to your hotel.

Day 6 | Transfer to Cuzco

Mid-morning, after breakfast, check out and transfer to your hotel in Cuzco.

Palacio del Inka is a landmark property housed in a restored 16th-century mansion in the heart of Cusco. It combines colonial-era architecture with refined modern luxury, with individually designed rooms featuring traditional colonial decor, warm tones, and handcrafted details.

Located directly across from Qorikancha—the Temple of the Sun—and just minutes from Cusco's main square, museums, and shops, the hotel offers both a culturally immersive setting and excellent access to the city's historic attractions.

The remainder of the day is free to explore Cuzco on your own.

Day 7 | Full-day Rainbow Mountain private guided experience

Departing from your hotel early in the morning, the journey crosses the South Valley towards Cusipata, before a transfer to Phulawasipata—the starting point of the walk. The route is 4.3 miles roundtrip.

The ascending route to Vinicunca—the Rainbow Mountain—unfolds with vivid colors and natural beauty at every step. Rolling hills, alpacas grazing peacefully, and snow-capped peaks glowing under the Andean sun create landscapes that seem straight out of a dream.

If the hike feels too demanding, locals offer the option to rent horses at the starting point (approximately USD 42 for a one-way trip). The final 20-minute stretch to the summit must be done on foot.

Depending on time, the walk may continue towards the Red Valley—mountains of red dirt stretching in all directions—before returning to the starting point and transferring back to Cuzco.
